A break from our regularly scheduled program...

I wanted to take a moment to make a quick disclaimer for potential clients:

I am not a Pro-Photographer. I'm a girl who has a passion for taking photos who hopes to one day call herself a "Pro". In the meantime, I try my best to make my clients happy.

Also, I work a full time job aside from doing my photography. I don't have a whole lot of free time and what little I do have, I devote to my photography. This means that sometimes it takes me a little longer to process photos, get things mailed out, or even have time for a session. But rest assured that even if it takes me a little longer then expected, I'm putting my all into your/my work.

Thanks!

Cody's Session [Seniors]

I've known Cody for many years. His family lived across the road from my family and he always played with my younger brother until they moved a town over. So when he asked me to do his Senior Pictures, of course I said "Sure!". He wanted to have his session at my family's farm (across from where he use to live) and I think the setting was very fitting not only for his personality but for sentimental purposes as well. He's grown up to be quite the handsome gentleman :)

Ryan & Brit's Session [Couples]

I had so much fun doing Ryan and Brit's session at The Chippewa Nature Center. It was a perfect fall day for photos with a perfect couple :) Seriously though, I kept catching myself smiling while I was editing the photos of them looking at each other...I love when you can SEE the love between two people!

Heather's Portrait Session [Portrait]

I love love loved my session with Heather! She was relaxed, fun, and ready to try anything and that made it easy for both of us. I can't wait to take her photos again in the future :)

We decided to try her session in a location I hadn't tried before; downtown Midland/Tridge area, and it became an instant favorite. So many different backdrops! If you'd like to have a session in the same location, just contact me!

Family Portraits [Personal]

I'm so behind on updating the blog! A few weeks ago I decided to do a quick family portrait session with my family. For a last minute thought, they turned out pretty well! You'll notice that I have not only a handsome husband, but a handsome brother as well. :)

Mr. Dominik's Kid Session [Kids]

Dominik was quite the cutie with his funny expressions and beautiful blue eyes. We got a ton of great photos from our hour long session, and I got another leg workout that left me with some sore muscles for 5 days. I like to call it "The Toddler Workout Session"!

Mr Wyatt's 18mo Session [Kids]

I'm finally getting Wyatt's pictures up from his session. Not only was Wyatt Una Photography's first client, but he was also the first toddler I've ever photographed. One thing Wyatt taught me is that adults are much easier to direct than I originally thought :)

Mr. Wyatt's Teaser [Kids]

Tonight I had my very first official photo session as [Una] Photography! I was definitely nervous and it was so so hot out, but I got some pretty good shots, especially for as much running around as we did :)

So without further ado, here's a teaser photo of Mr. Wyatt's session.

Hidden Treasures [Personal]

I know I know, another personal blog. I don't have any photo sessions scheduled until the end of the month so you'll just have to enjoy these for now :)

My husband and brother-in-law have been slowly insulating our house over the last year with blown cellulose. While prepping the utility room walls (which used to be the garage) they found an old license plate in the wall from 1937 that the original owners must have left. Pretty cool! Of course the occasion called for an impromptu Photo Session :)

Lazy Sunday [Personal]

It is an oppressively hot Sunday, for sure! But we're trying to get as much done of the fence we're building as we can. My younger brother, Lucas, has also come over to spend the day with us. He found a nice shady spot in the yard to read--but don't disturb him! :)

Summer Gardening [Personal]

I'm finally getting the ball rolling with Una Photography. This week I started a Facebook page for Una Photography as well as this blog. The next step is to start booking...that information will be available soon!

In the meantime, Keenan and I have been tending to our gardens. The Snow Peas are sprouting and we've discovered Raspberries growing in our yard that we never even noticed before (how silly of us, I know!). We can't figure out what kind they are though. They taste like both Raspberries AND Blackberries. A hybrid perhaps?
